Human beings have been gathering in purposeful circles for a very long time as a communal way of managing life. In circle we share our joys, our grief, our fears, our dreams. Circles are curated environments to help facilitate personal healing and obtain a greater sense of alignment in your life. You do the hard work, while a facilitator guides you on that journey and holds space for your own self-discovery and healing. Circles are usually co-ed, but can be personalized to your own personal group: kids, teens, all people who identify as women, or men. A willingness to be vulnerable, participate, move inwards, and explore in a small group setting is what is expected. Circles allow you to:

Healing circles provide a safe space to come together and explore our own inner guidance and begin transformation and healing. We get to engage our own healing ability through self-inquiry, reflection, and intention setting in order to initiate empowering change, de-program from conditioning, and remember our primal selves. A healing circle is a place where you can find yourself again and again. Each healing circle incorporates a different experience based on the theme, group intention, current astrology, and age of participants. Healing circles are shamanic in nature, honoring the divinity in nature and ourselves.

Nourish the core of your being by traveling to the lower world and upper worlds in the non-ordinary planes through a trance-like state induced by the beating of a drum. In these shamanic realms ordinary rules cease to exist and we can find freedom from principles that typically constrain us in our lives. We journey for self to find lost parts of ourselves, energies that don't belong to us are released, we find allies and guides, communicate with our ancestors and loved ones, and we find ourselves belonging to the Earth, and ourselves, in a whole new way. Some meditation experience is needed for this type of circle.

When mindfully engaged, the act of creating a mandala has the benefits of harmonizing both sides of the brain, calming the nervous system, focusing intention, and balancing our physical and energetic body, ultimately helping repattern our inner landscapes. Drawing mandalas is an opportunity to contemplate deeply and to connect creatively to your authentic self. American artist Georgia O’Keeffe once said “I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way, things I had no words for.” Drawing mandalas can be a form of deep spiritual connection, expression, and healing.

Usually done around the Full Moon, a fire ceremony aligns with this cycle of the Moon to work with our energy and intentions. The light the Full Moon offers illuminates those things that are interfering with our spiritual advancements and fire is a powerful cleansing and transformational tool that can help us change and shift our lives in the ways we desire and need. Fire ceremonies have remained a core practice among many traditional cultures since the beginning of humanity. Each month the Full Moon is in a different sign, encouraging us to work with particular aspects of self we need to release.
